Over the coming weeks, many of you will be considering who to vote for the Croydon Mayoral election.

Before you make your decision, I wanted to share something simple.

Not my words - but the views of people from across our borough who I’ve had the privilege of working with over the past four years.

People from very different walks of life.
Different backgrounds, different communities, different perspectives.

From a Labour councillor of 36 years, to small business owners, volunteers, parents, faith leaders and young people starting out in life.

They won’t all agree on everything politically - and nor should they.

But they have one thing in common: they care about Croydon, and they’ve seen first-hand the work we’ve been doing to turn things around.

Since becoming Mayor, I’ve tried to be visible, accessible and focused on what matters - listening to residents, supporting local communities, and making steady progress after some very difficult years for our borough.

There is still more to do. But we are moving in the right direction.

So as you consider your vote, I would simply ask you to take a moment to read what others are saying.

People like you. People from your community. People who want Croydon to succeed.

And if you believe, as they do, that we should keep Croydon on track - I hope your local Conservative candidates can count on your support on 7th May.

Jason Perry, Conservative Executive Mayor of Croydon
